Georgia remains atop college football rankings after win over Kentucky

The Georgia Bulldogs, who crushed the Kentucky Wildcats 51-13 on Saturday, have remained atop the college football rankings for Week 7.

Georgia received 1,559 points in the AP Poll, which is 58 more than they received last week. The Bulldogs received 50 of the 63 first-place votes, 15 more than in Week 6. Michigan (6-0), Ohio State (5-0), Florida State (5-0), and Oklahoma (6-0) round out the top five in the AP Poll.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,597 points, which is eight points more than last week. Georgia gained two first-place votes and now has 61, with the remaining votes going to Ohio State (2) and Washington (1).

The Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, Oct. 14 on the road against the Vanderbilt Commodores at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. The game will be televised by CBS at noon ET (Buy Tickets).
