Georgia remains first in college football rankings following bye week

The Georgia Bulldogs, who were off on Saturday, have remained atop the college football rankings for Week 9.

Georgia received 1,536 points in the AP Poll, which is six less than they received last week. The Bulldogs lost five more first-place votes and are now down to 38. Michigan (8-0), Ohio State (7-0), Florida State (7-0), and Washington (7-0) round out the top five in the AP Poll.

In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs received 1,586 points, which is four points less than last week. Georgia garnered 58 first-place votes from the coaches, the same amount as last week.

The Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, Oct. 28 against the Florida Gators at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla. The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30pm ET (Buy Tickets).
