Tae Harris, an athlete/defensive back from Cedartown, Ga., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2025.

Harris committed to Kirby Smart and the back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs on Monday evening.

Tae Harris (6-0, 180) currently plays for Cedartown High School. He committed to UGA over offers from Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, and Troy.

Currently, Rivals and 247Sports do not have ratings for Tae Harris.

Per UGASports.com, Harris recorded 59 tackles, two interceptions, five pass deflections, and one forced fumble in 15 games as a starter for Cedartown last season.

“Georgia is the right place for me because I’ve always wanted to play for Coach Muschamp, and the defensive side of the ball, the way they do things at UGA, is different,” Harris told UGASports.com. “That’s why they win ball games, and I want to be part of that!”

With the addition of Harris, the Georgia Bulldogs now have six commitments for the class of 2025. UGA’s 2025 class is currently ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Alabama, Penn State, Clemson, and Michigan.
