Daniel Calhoun commits to UGA football for 2024 class

Daniel Calhoun, a four-star offensive tackle from Marietta, Ga., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2024.

Calhoun officially visited Athens on June 2. He committed to the back-to back national champion Georgia Bulldogs early Wednesday.

Daniel Calhoun (6-6 1/2, 355) currently plays for Walton High School. He committed to UGA over Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, and Texas, among others.

In the 247Sports Composite, Daniel Calhoun is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 6 offensive tackle, and the No. 98 overall recruit in the country for 2024. Rivals.com also rates Daniel Calhoun as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 offensive tackle, and the No. 72 overall recruit.

With the addition of Calhoun, the Georgia Bulldogs are now up to a total of 23 commitments for the class of 2024. UGA’s class continues to be ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Ohio State, Florida, Michigan,  and Notre Dame.
