Ondre Evans, a 2024 four-star cornerback from Nashville, Tenn., has flipped his commitment from LSU to UGA.

Evans’ cited defensive backs coach Fran Brown as the biggest factor in his commitment to the Bulldogs.

“The biggest factor was Coach Fran (Brown), he did an amazing job recruiting me,” Evans told UGASports.com. “But, the program itself. It’s Georgia. Coach (Kirby) Smart. Hell of a coach. He was under Nick Saban for a while, but now he’s doing his own thing and it feels good to a part of that team and those players and be under his wing and learn a lot from him and Fran.”

Ondre Evans (6-1, 181) currently plays for Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville. He also had offers from most of the top schools in the country.

In the 247Sports Composite, Ondre Evans is rated as a four-star recruit, the No. 15 cornerback, and the No. 152 overall recruit in the country for 2024. Rivals.com also rates Ondre Evans as a four-star recruit, the No. 27 cornerback, and the No. 233 recruit nationally.

With the addition of Evans, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 27 commitments for the class of 2024. UGA’s 2024 class is currently ranked first in the 247Sports Team Rankings ahead of Ohio State, Florida, Alabama, and Texas A&M.
